Ensemble Dialogos - Buddha Among Christians

Barlaam and Jehoshaphat is a reinterpretation of the life of the Buddha that transited from East to West between the 3rd and 9th centuries, adapted to the Byzantine Christian context. The legend became a key work of medieval preaching, with versions in multiple languages and a wide diffusion in Europe. Ensemble Dialogos reconstructs this fascinating story in the concert following the performance, offering a unique musical interpretation of this ancient tradition.
